Delete your account
Last updated · July 19, 2026
This page explains how to delete your Mirror Works account and the data associated with it. Mirror Works is an AI-guided self-reflection app published by Justyna Politanska (mirrorwrk.com).
01Delete your account in the app
- Open Mirror Works and log in to your account.
- Go to your profile / settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deactivated immediately; full deletion completes within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
02Request deletion by e-mail
If you can no longer access the app, write to hello@mirrorwrk.com from the e-mail address your account is registered with, using the subject line "Account deletion request". We process deletion requests within 30 days.
03What is deleted
- Your account and login e-mail address
- Your chat conversations and session content (beliefs, reflections, and new truths you worked on)
- Your profile information and app settings
Residual copies are removed from our systems within 30 days.
04What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase and billing records are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and our subscription infrastructure. They are retained for as long as required by tax and accounting law, and are not deleted together with your account.
- Limited technical logs (for security and abuse prevention, including logs kept by our AI provider) are retained for up to 30 days.
✦Before you delete
- Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or in the App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
05Delete specific data without deleting your account
If you want us to remove specific data — for example your chat history — while keeping your account active, write to hello@mirrorwrk.com from the e-mail address your account is registered with, using the subject line "Data deletion request", and tell us what you would like removed. We process such requests within 30 days.
