The cost of one repeating thought
On average we lose two to three hours a day replaying the same thought. That’s a part-time job a year — handed to a thought that solves nothing.

That ‘one’ nagging belief
You’ve done the reading — two courses, a shelf of books, maybe a therapy or two you never quite finished. You can explain exactly where you get stuck. And still, on an ordinary Thursday, the same thought is back: the tight chest before you open the laptop, the 3 a.m. replay, the shoulders that won’t drop. Not because you don’t understand it — because understanding was never the part that moved.
Mirror is a conversation with your own mind — led by an AI agent. It asks eight simple questions. Gentle, but exact. It doesn’t analyze. It doesn’t judge. It just guides.
a guided path through one thought
one full session, start to finish
reframed into one that supports you
A different approach
Mirror is built to ask the way an attentive practitioner would — and to stay strictly inside that one job.
Of course — if you have the time and the appetite to keep testing.
The method
Because they’re the standard in every proven process for changing beliefs. The structure stays the same every time — the content is yours. Mirror asks, waits, reflects, and makes sure no step gets skipped.
“What thought is hurting you today?”
We catch it in one sentence, in your own words — no smoothing it over.
“Are you absolutely sure it’s true?”
The first crack in the pattern — with no nudge toward a familiar answer.
“How do you react when you believe it?”
Where it lands in the body. Mirror doesn’t rush the hard feeling — it waits until you find it.
“Whose voice is this thought in?”
The old pattern, or the part of you speaking up right now. You get to see it.
“Who would you be without this thought?”
The moment you notice you are not the thought — and that you can set it down.
“How could your new truth sound?”
A new thought built from your own words — not an affirmation handed to you from outside.
“Which sentence do you want to keep?”
Four directions — agency, worth, kindness, your own words. You choose what you’re ready to believe today.
“What will you do to live it out?”
One micro-move, the same day. The change enters your body and your choices — it doesn’t stay in your head.
A fair question
Yes, you can. But why would you, when Mirror knows the steps and will carry you through them better than many a person could? It never walks in with its own story. It answers honestly — because that is the one thing it was built to do.
How it works
You open Mirror Works on your phone or laptop — with one thought that’s gripping you today. You describe the situation, how you think about it, how you see it.
Mirror is an AI agent, built and trained around a method I designed. It guides you through eight steps. It doesn’t advise, judge, or reassure. It asks. It waits. It reflects. A guided conversation.
After eight minutes you have a new sentence in your head and one concrete move to make. Not instead of a coaching or therapy session — in between.
Methodology
Mirror Works is a deliberate synthesis of four traditions of working with a thought — some you may already lean on yourself:
What Mirror adds is the design of the conversation — the order of the eight steps, a tone that fits the moment, four directions for a new truth (agency, worth, kindness, your own words) instead of a single affirmation, and a micro-gesture at the end so the change doesn’t stay in your head.
The rhythm of change
After your first session
One thought met properly, and one small action taken.
After 10 sessions
The pattern becomes familiar. You start catching the thought earlier.
After 30 sessions
Questioning a thought stops being an exercise and becomes a habit.
The AI
Mirror is calm and patient. It holds to the eight-step structure without improvising. It doesn’t interpret, suggest, or advise — that isn’t what it’s built for. Where a topic runs past what the tool can hold, it points you toward professional help.
Mirror Works is made to complement the work of a coach, therapist, doctor, or teacher — never to compete with it. It fills the gap no person can physically cover: the night, the weekend, the hour after a hard conversation.
Honest boundaries
It works between your sessions with a professional — never instead of them. It is work between therapies, but also work on the thinking itself.
On the harsh, often inaccurate way we judge ourselves and our situation.
And a single thought, held long enough, quietly shapes the quality of a life.
Who made this
Founder · CEO, Perform Brand Design · 15 years in (re)branding
I designed Mirror Works because I was searching for it myself — something to help me shift the so-called “sabotaging thoughts from the ego.” I know therapy, and the deeper work, reach far past “working with beliefs” — but I also know the belief work is just as necessary.
I went through every method I could get my hands on. I never found one that was simple to use, available at any hour, and methodologically sound. So I decided that if something is missing, you build it — the way you design a product, a brand, a workshop; the way you lead people through change.
On the way to that dream the challenges are already piling up. I’m learning the legal side, the terminal, Flutter, low-code — breaking, as I go, every stereotype I held about who gets to build technology and startups, in Poland and in the world.
From the experts
Mirror Works lands in the hands of women who lead others through the work of changing how they think. Here is their read on it.
From the blog
Your thoughts aren’t the world — they’re your reading of it. Three short pieces on taking off the lenses you never chose, and what can happen when you do.
Questions
No — and that’s a product decision, not a marketing line. Mirror doesn’t diagnose, doesn’t suggest diagnoses, and doesn’t work with trauma or with crisis. Wherever a topic reaches past its eight-step work on a single belief, it hands you back to professional help. I designed Mirror to work between sessions with a professional — never instead of them.
It runs a conversation I scripted — eight steps, each with its own goal, tone, and limits. The AI doesn’t improvise or decide “what it wants”; it works inside a prompt I designed, the same way every time. It isn’t a black box. I treat the language model as a medium the method lives in — never a stand-in for a person, just one specific process carried through with care, at three in the morning when no one else is there.
Mirror runs on your phone, and your session is processed by a language model to generate each question — that is how the conversation works at all. I don’t read your sessions. What is stored is the minimum needed to run the app and show you your own history, and you can delete your account and its data at any time. The full privacy policy is linked before you start.
About eight minutes. One thought, eight steps, one next action.
A session when a thought grips you is plenty — some weeks that’s daily, some months not at all. The shift compounds: you’ll notice it around ten sessions, and it settles by thirty.
No. It won’t tell you what to do or how to live. It asks, waits, and reflects — the insight stays yours.
